About Us

Agrimas Ltd recycles and supplies a range of quality aggregates such as sand, crushed stone, road planings/asphalt, gravel and concrete, to local authority, construction industry and other business sector clients across the UK.

Our recycled aggregate derives from the processing of inorganic material previously used in construction. To ensure the aggregate is inert, it is manufactured from material tested and characterised under European Waste Codes.

Gravel

Gravel is pounded down stones that are made in two ways. The first is in its natural form from rocks smashing together as they roll down riverbeds, and the second is purposefully crushed larger rocks for construction gravel.

Sand

Sand is a granular material composed of finely divided rock and mineral particles. It is defined by size, being finer than gravel and coarser than silt. It is used in the construction industry as it has strength and bulk that works well as part of construction projects. It also blends well to materials such as concrete and asphalt.

Type 1 Crushed Concrete

Predominantly derived from recycled materials, crushed concrete aggregates are usually taken from demolished construction sites as most construction sites have large quantities of waste product. Agrimas can supply different types of crushed concrete for use as aggregate.

Road Planings

Road planings are produced through the process of tarmac roads being relayed. They are ideal for driveways as it compacts down and gives off no dust. It is also a good product for car parks.

Crushed Concrete Hardcore 6F2

Hardcore 6F2 is produced by crushing aggregate – recycled waste materials from construction and demolition projects. It is perfect for using in trench fills, backfills, oversite fills and as a granular sub base.

Ballast

Ballast is the coarsest form of aggregate available and is usually made with crushed stone. Concrete mixes rely on ballast for pathways or major footings.
